Case Study: Enhancing Website Design and Local SEO for AdventureKT
Client Overview
Business Name: AdventureKT
Industry: RV Rentals
Location: San Diego, California
Client Type: White Label Project (in partnership with a digital agency)
AdventureKT is a top-rated RV rental company based in San Diego, California. They offer a premium fleet of recreational vehicles to families, tourists, and outdoor enthusiasts exploring California’s scenic routes. While their business had a strong reputation and consistent demand offline, their online presence was failing to keep up—leading to missed opportunities in search traffic and online bookings.
The Challenge
When the agency brought the project to us, AdventureKT was struggling with:
- An outdated website with a cluttered layout, inconsistent branding, and poor user experience
- Slow site speed that caused high bounce rates, especially on mobile
- No clear conversion path, making it difficult for users to quickly book an RV or get information
- Poor search engine visibility for important local keywords such as “RV rental San Diego,” “rent an RV near me,” and “San Diego motorhome rentals”
- A Google Business Profile (GBP) that wasn’t fully optimized, missing categories, services, and engaging posts
- Lack of structured content and landing pages for location-specific searches
- The business didn’t want to rely on paid advertising — they wanted sustainable, long-term organic traffic and growth
In short: AdventureKT had a great service offering, but their website and local SEO setup were holding them
The Solution
We crafted a two-phase strategy that focused on both the website redesign and a targeted Local SEO campaign to improve AdventureKT’s visibility, traffic, and conversions — all under a white label partnership.
Phase 1: Website Redesign (Built for Speed, UX, and Conversions)
Our goal with the new website was to make it faster, clearer, mobile-first, and optimized for search engines and customers alike.
What we did:
- Rebuilt the website on WordPress with a clean, modern layout using lightweight design elements
- Crafted a mobile-first responsive design to serve the majority of users searching on smartphones
- Streamlined the navigation to ensure users could easily find fleet options, pricing, availability, and contact details
- Added clear call-to-action buttons on every key page (e.g., “Book Now”, “Check RV Availability”, “Call Us”)
- Implemented trust-building elements such as real customer testimonials, security badges, partner logos, and FAQs
- Improved load speed and passed Core Web Vitals benchmarks using image compression, script optimization, and CDN implementation
- Created new SEO-friendly service and location pages designed to rank and convert
Before: The old site was slow, visually outdated, and lacked a clear booking flow.
After: The new site became a high-performance marketing tool that looked professional, loaded fast, and encouraged users to take action.
Phase 2: Local SEO + Google Business Profile Optimization
Once the new website was launched, we immediately moved into local search engine optimization to drive targeted traffic from people looking for RV rentals in San Diego and surrounding areas.
Here’s what we did:
Comprehensive Keyword Research: We identified high-converting local keywords like “RV rental San Diego,” “Campervan rental San Diego,” and “Class C RV rental near me.”
On-Page SEO Optimization: Optimized title tags, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking, alt texts, and schema markup on every page.
Created Location-Specific Landing Pages: Targeted surrounding areas like La Jolla, Escondido, and national parks like Joshua Tree and Sequoia.
Google Business Profile Optimization:
- Completed all business details including accurate categories, services, and service areas
- Uploaded high-quality, geo-tagged photos of RVs and the business location
- Posted weekly updates and promotional content on GBP
- Added FAQs and customer Q&As to improve keyword triggers in local search
Technical SEO Fixes: Resolved broken links, structured sitemap, mobile usability issues, and improved crawl budget efficiency
Content Creation Strategy: Developed blogs around RV travel tips, road trip itineraries, and renting guides — all optimized for local and seasonal search intent
The Results
Before

After

In just 90 days, AdventureKT saw significant improvements in both online visibility and customer engagement — all without using paid ads.
Organic traffic grew from around 2,500 monthly visitors to over 6,200, driven by stronger keyword rankings and a faster, more user-friendly website. Their Google Business Profile also saw major gains, with views jumping from 3,200 to 11,500+, and monthly calls increasing from 12 to over 55.
The number of keywords ranking on Google’s first page rose from 14 to 38, including high-value terms like “RV rental San Diego.” The website redesign also led to better user experience and conversions, with the estimated booking conversion rate increasing from about 1.5% to 4.2%.
These results impressed both the client and our white label partner, leading to a renewed long-term engagement and a stronger presence for AdventureKT in the local market.
